The course closed WHILE you were registering, which means that some people who had the same amount of credits as you got the chance to register but webreg fucked you over. Sure, we could have sophomores with 4.0's registering for Data Science (and maybe the SPN system does that), but they definitely don't deserve priority over the senior with a 2.5 about to graduate.
