Can I instead buy an Instant and use it in the same way I would have used a Teleport device? I had found that page, but it doesn't say anything about the remote router being connected over WiFi (it only says connected over wired). By that I mean: Connect to some hotel or other random WiFi network, Create a VPN to my Amplifi HD back at home, Allow me to broadcast a local WiFi that is VPN'd back to my home network. I'll assume it's just not possible with routers and that I should have bought a Teleport device when I had the chance. There were articles about it as recently as a month ago and I saw nothing about it's discontinuation. It can be done but you'll need more hardware... specifically something to bridge WiFi to Ethernet, like a UniFi nanostation loco M5 or M2 (which you have to buy based on the band you want, 5ghz or 2.4ghz).

The discontinuation of the Teleport hardware is a tragedy. The Instant is relatively new, so all I'm seeing in my searches is this "new system where you can setup WiFi in 2 minutes".
